How many visitors
can visit my site?
Our smallest
package offers 5gb of bandwidth. For the average
site that should be enough for roughly 2,00,000
page views a month. Sites that are more graphic
intensive, or those that offer downloads, will
require more bandwidth. |
|
|
How many pages can my account
hold?
Our smallest package offers
enough space to hold around 10,000 standard HTML
pages. Image files are considerably larger than
HTML files though and will require more room.
For the typical small business site though this
will be more than enough storage
space. |

What is a
sub domain?
A sub domain is setup like
http://subdomain.yourdomain.com. It allows you
to place a word of phrase in place of the
standard "www" and redirect all requests to that
URL to a different directory on your account.

What is a parked
domain?
Parked domains are
simply secondary domains that you point to your
account. They will serve the same files as your
primary domain and otherwise function the same.
Parked domains are often used by businesses that
want to have more than one web address for
advertising purposes. Do not confuse this with
domain parking offered by some
domain registrars. When a
domain registrar offers such a service they mean
to park your domain on their servers, not point
it to your account here.

What is an email
alias?
An email alias is an
address that you can give out to people and all
email sent to that address will be automatically
forwarded to a specified actual email box. For
instance if you wanted all support email
forwarded to your support manager you could
setup an alias of support@yourdomain.com and
point it to managersname@yourdomain.com.

What is an email
forward?
An email forward is like
an email alias except it can
forward email to accounts on different servers.
For instance you could forward
yourname@yourdomain.com to yourname@yahoo.com if
you wanted to.
